The blend brings together a 10-year-old Indiana bourbon (55%), an 11-year-old Kentucky bourbon (25%) and a 7-year-old Kentucky bourbon (20%). Garryana, or Oregon white oak, is a rare Pacific Northwest oak prized for its spicy, aromatic character.
The nose brings toasted oak, burnt sugar and baked apple cobbler. On the palate come dried cherry, cinnamon bark and caramelised fruit, and the finish is long and warm, with toasted oak and the distinctive Garryana spice.
The bottle's fiery orange label makes it a striking gift for bourbon collectors.
