Bebemos Joven is a small-batch tequila from Bebemos, a brand founded in San Diego by Jon Maddux and Preston Caffrey and inspired by the laid-back 1970s surf culture of Southern California. It is bottled at 40% ABV.
Bebemos is produced in Mexico by the González family. The Joven blends unaged blanco with reposado and añejo tequilas, bringing together the brightness of fresh agave and the roundness of oak. Its tall, faceted bottle glows amber beneath a sculpted stopper.
The nose brings cooked agave, citrus and green herbs, with vanilla, white pepper and faint florals. On the palate come roasted agave, lime and herbal notes, with gentle pepper, light vanilla and earthy minerality, and the finish is medium-length and crisp, with agave sweetness, citrus and pepper.
It is a stylish gift for tequila lovers and a natural fit for summer gatherings.
Enjoy it neat, on the rocks or in a premium margarita.
Joven tequila blends unaged blanco with aged tequila, bringing together the brightness of fresh agave and the roundness of oak in one glass.
Tequila can only be made from blue Weber agave in five designated Mexican states, chiefly Jalisco, and the finest bottlings are made from 100% agave. Sipping tequila is best enjoyed from a narrow-rimmed glass that concentrates the aromas, at room temperature and without salt or lime, so the character of the agave and the barrel can come through.
