Bernheim Original is a 7-year-old small-batch Kentucky straight wheat whiskey from Heaven Hill, bottled at 90 proof (45% ABV) and named for the famed Bernheim Distillery in Louisville.
Bernheim Original was the first new style of American whiskey introduced since Prohibition, and the first straight whiskey to use winter wheat as its primary grain. Created by Heaven Hill's Master Distillers, it is aged seven years in traditional open rickhouses and produced as a small batch at the namesake Bernheim Distillery. It won Gold at the 2023 ASCOT Awards and Double Gold at the 2023 New York International Spirits Competition.
