Blanco Muerte is an unaged tequila made from 100% blue Weber agave in Jalisco, Mexico, at NOM 1504, bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV) in a skull-painted bottle.
The brand story draws on the legend of Don Blanco, and the process stays traditional: brick ovens cook the agave, a roller mill crushes it, and deep well water joins the juice for fermentation in stainless steel. Two runs through copper pot stills follow.
In the glass, cooked agave comes up first, with citrus, fresh herbs and white pepper, and a soft floral note in the background. The palate is light and bright, with roasted agave, lime zest and a touch of minerality, ending clean and crisp with a natural peppery snap. It earned a Silver Medal and 86 points at the 2025 USA Spirits Ratings.
