Bombay Sapphire is a London dry gin known around the world for its distinctive blue bottle, made with ten hand-selected botanicals that are gently vapor infused and never boiled, bottled at 94 proof (47% ABV) in a 1.75-liter bottle.
Vapor infusion lets the alcohol vapor pass through baskets of botanicals rather than boiling them in the spirit, capturing their bright, vibrant flavors. The ten all-natural, sustainably sourced botanicals range from cubeb berries from Java to the spice of West African grains of paradise, and together they create a perfectly balanced, bright, fresh and clean gin. Bombay Sapphire calls itself the world's number one premium gin.
At 47% ABV it is versatile and perfect for cocktail creativity, and its bright, fresh, clean character makes the perfect canvas for any cocktail.
The large bottle keeps a busy home bar stocked for parties.
The ten botanicals are juniper, lemon peel, grains of paradise, coriander, cubeb berries, orris root, almonds, cassia bark, licorice and angelica, gathered from around the world: liquorice from China, cassia from Indo-China, coriander from Morocco, angelica from Saxony, juniper and orris from Italy, and lemon peel and almonds from Spain. Since 2014 the gin has been made at Laverstoke Mill in Hampshire, England, a sustainably restored former mill with glasshouses that simulate the climates the botanicals come from.
