Booker's Batch 2025-02, By the Pond, is the second release of the 2025 Booker's collection, an uncut, unfiltered Kentucky straight bourbon bottled straight from the barrel at 126.5 proof (63.25% ABV), aged about 7 years, 1 month and 20 days.
It is named for the man-made pond Booker Noe built behind his family home in Bardstown, where he raised catfish and bluegill and found a peaceful place for reflection. The batch blends barrels from several rickhouse locations.
The nose shows toasted oak, vanilla cream, caramelised sugar and a little spice. The palate brings roasted peanuts, sweet vanilla, charred wood and a hint of red berry, and the long finish carries caramel, spice, oak and the nuttiness associated with Beam.
Presented in its wooden box, it is a classic gift for any bourbon lover.

Bourbon must be made in the United States from a mash of at least 51% corn and aged in new charred oak containers, and straight bourbon must be aged at least two years. Those rules give bourbon its characteristic sweetness, with caramel and vanilla drawn from the charred barrels.
