Bulleit Bourbon Single Barrel is a hand-selected Kentucky straight bourbon aged a minimum of eight years in new, charred American white oak, bottled from a single barrel at 104 proof (52% ABV).
Bulleit's blenders set aside a select number of barrels, each featuring one of the brand's signature yeasts and one of its high-rye mash bills with up to 36% rye. The particular combination of mash bill and yeast gives each barrel a one-of-a-kind flavour profile, so no two bottles are exactly alike.
It starts with a gentle spiciness that transforms into notes of maple, oak and nutmeg, with vanilla and caramel. The finish is long, dry and satiny, completed by the taste of light toffee.
A one-barrel expression of the familiar Bulleit frontier character, it makes a fine gift for bourbon lovers.
Enjoy it neat or with a few drops of water to experience its bold, complex flavour.
Bourbon must be made in the United States from a mash of at least 51% corn and aged in new charred oak containers, and straight bourbon must be aged at least two years. Those rules give bourbon its characteristic sweetness, with caramel and vanilla drawn from the charred barrels.

A single barrel bottling comes from one cask rather than a blend, so each bottle reflects the character of that barrel.
