Bushwood Stillwater Black is a six-year-old single barrel straight rye whiskey, crafted and bottled by Bushwood Spirits in Stanford, Kentucky, at 95 proof (47.5% ABV).
Inspired by the Monterey Peninsula and the beauty of Stillwater Cove, home of one of the greatest golf experiences in the world, Stillwater Rye is built on a rare low-rye mash bill of 51% rye, 45% corn and 4% malted barley. The balanced layering of rye and corn brings together the best of rye whiskey with the best of bourbon.
A brilliant amber mahogany with a flame-orange glint, it is loaded on the nose with caramel apple, finely ground nutmeg and just the right amount of rye. The palate offers candied citrus and tropical fruit, and the finish is long and smooth.
Evoking passion from rye drinkers and non-rye drinkers alike, it makes a fine gift for golfers and whiskey lovers.
Enjoy it neat or with a large ice cube.
