Cabo Wabo Blanco is a 100% blue Weber agave "thick cut" tequila, bottled unaged at 80 proof (40% ABV) with full-on agave flavor you can taste.
Cabo Wabo was founded in 1996 by rock musician Sammy Hagar and grew out of his Cabo Wabo Cantina in Cabo San Lucas; today it is part of Gruppo Campari. The Blanco is made at Destiladora San Nicolás from blue agave matured eight to twelve years, baked in wood-fired ovens, crushed by roller mill, naturally fermented and distilled twice. It is never influenced by barrel wood, only by hard work, passion and dedication.
Colorless but full of flavor, it opens with sweet vanilla-flecked green grass on the nose, with a full, soft texture and mild green pineapple flavor. It has enough spice to give a kick but goes down clean.

Blanco tequila is bottled unaged or rested for less than two months, so it shows the agave at its purest: bright, peppery and fresh. It is the classic choice for margaritas and palomas, and a good blanco is just as rewarding sipped neat.
Tequila can only be made from blue Weber agave in five designated Mexican states, chiefly Jalisco, and the finest bottlings are made from 100% agave. Sipping tequila is best enjoyed from a narrow-rimmed glass that concentrates the aromas, at room temperature and without salt or lime, so the character of the agave and the barrel can come through.
