Casa de Hamsa Añejo is a premium artisanal 100% blue agave tequila from the highlands of Jalisco, aged for over a year in oak barrels and bottled at 40% ABV in a 1-litre hamsa-shaped bottle.
Casa de Hamsa was founded by a group of six friends, including celebrity jewellers Richie Rich of Leon Diamond and Moses the Jeweler, and released its tequilas in 2025. Deeply rooted in Mexican culture, it produces its spirits in the Jalisco highlands, where rich volcanic soil and high altitude create ideal conditions for premium blue agave.
Over a year in oak gives this añejo a rich, complex character, a deep amber colour and a smooth, silky profile designed for sipping.
Its jewel-like hamsa bottle, the protective hand symbol, makes it a showpiece gift.
Sip it neat or over a single large ice cube.
Añejo tequila is aged between one and three years in oak barrels of no more than 600 litres, long enough to add colour, sweetness and spice while keeping the character of the agave, which makes it a natural sipping tequila.
Tequila can only be made from blue Weber agave in five designated Mexican states, chiefly Jalisco, and the finest bottlings are made from 100% agave. Sipping tequila is best enjoyed from a narrow-rimmed glass that concentrates the aromas, at room temperature and without salt or lime, so the character of the agave and the barrel can come through.
