Casa México Silver is a 100% blue agave tequila from the highlands of Jalisco, created by Mario Lopez and Oscar De La Hoya with founder Don Buccio and bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV).
The agave is picked from the mineral-rich, deep volcanic soils of the Jalisco highlands, slow-baked in clay ovens, naturally fermented and double distilled in stainless steel pot stills. Casa México is crafted at El Nacimiento Distillery, a family-owned and operated house spanning five generations, with more than 100 years of experience growing agave and distilling tequila.
Each sip reveals graceful earth tones followed by crisp, sweet citrus, finishing with hints of spice. Vanilla, baked pear and roasted agave show on the nose, building to vanilla bean and melon, and the finish is semi-dry with a sprinkle of white pepper and orange citrus.
Suitable for sipping or as the foundation for your favorite tequila cocktail.
Blanco tequila is bottled unaged or rested for less than two months, so it shows the agave at its purest: bright, peppery and fresh. It is the classic choice for margaritas and palomas, and a good blanco is just as rewarding sipped neat.
Tequila can only be made from blue Weber agave in five designated Mexican states, chiefly Jalisco, and the finest bottlings are made from 100% agave. Sipping tequila is best enjoyed from a narrow-rimmed glass that concentrates the aromas, at room temperature and without salt or lime, so the character of the agave and the barrel can come through.
