Casamigos Blanco is a crystal-clear 100% blue Weber agave tequila from the rich red clay soils of the Jalisco Highlands, bottled at 40% ABV, here in the 1.75-litre format.
Co-founded by George Clooney and Rande Gerber to create a tequila smooth enough to sip without salt or lime, Casamigos uses agave aged seven to nine years. The piñas are roasted in traditional brick ovens for about 72 hours and fermented for 80 hours with a proprietary yeast blend, far longer than average, before double distillation.
It offers crisp notes of citrus, vanilla and sweet agave, with a smooth, long finish showing grapefruit and fruit-forward flavours.

Blanco tequila is bottled unaged or rested for less than two months, so it shows the agave at its purest: bright, peppery and fresh. It is the classic choice for margaritas and palomas, and a good blanco is just as rewarding sipped neat.
Tequila can only be made from blue Weber agave in five designated Mexican states, chiefly Jalisco, and the finest bottlings are made from 100% agave. Sipping tequila is best enjoyed from a narrow-rimmed glass that concentrates the aromas, at room temperature and without salt or lime, so the character of the agave and the barrel can come through.
