Cava de Oro Extra Aged Añejo Black Edition is a 100% blue agave tequila from El Arenal, Jalisco, aged 24 months in French white oak barrels and then extra aged for three more months in a new barrel, bottled at 40% ABV in a collectible black bottle.
Premium and subtly sweet, it is, ideal for sipping neat or on the rocks. The extra time in a fresh barrel gives it more colour, smoothness and depth than a traditional añejo.
Intense gold to dark amber in colour, it offers a multitude of fruity aromas with toasted oak. Its exquisite sweetness carries into a large, long finish.

Añejo tequila is aged between one and three years in oak barrels of no more than 600 litres, long enough to add colour, sweetness and spice while keeping the character of the agave, which makes it a natural sipping tequila.
Tequila can only be made from blue Weber agave in five designated Mexican states, chiefly Jalisco, and the finest bottlings are made from 100% agave. Sipping tequila is best enjoyed from a narrow-rimmed glass that concentrates the aromas, at room temperature and without salt or lime, so the character of the agave and the barrel can come through.
