Caveman Spirits Company, based in San Diego, launched Caveman Vodka in late 2020, debuting at the Paleo f(x) show. Founder Steve R. Olsen discovered the benefits of the paleo diet after his brother developed prostate cancer, and he created a vodka for those who go against the grain in their eating and lifestyle, with the motto Work Hard, Have Fun.
Long ago, cavemen were constantly on the run, hunting and gathering or being chased by saber-toothed tigers. Today the world still moves fast, and Caveman Vodka celebrates achievements with paleo-friendly, gluten-free ingredients: it is always handcrafted from the finest California grapes, gluten-free from grape to bottle, and handcrafted at Dry Diggings Distillery in El Dorado Hills, California. Since a bottle of vodka is about 60% water, it is blended entirely with clean, pure Sierra alpine water, whose minerality brings a smooth, full finish.
