Chopin was one of the first vodkas to make the case that vodka should taste like what it is made from, and its single-ingredient family includes potato, rye and wheat. Potato was the original, launched in the United States in 1997, and the distillery was acquired by the Dorda family in 2003.
Distilled entirely from Polish potatoes grown in the fertile Podlasie countryside, it is distilled four times and blended with artesian well water. Potato gives a fuller, creamier body than grain vodkas, and in Chopin's own words its distinctly earthy, full-bodied profile makes it simply the best choice for a Martini.
