The Cincoro x Los Angeles Lakers Special Edition Añejo is a limited-release collaboration in an ombre purple and gold bottle inspired by the Lakers' iconic colours. It holds Cincoro's award-winning añejo, personally selected by Lakers governor and Cincoro co-founder Jeanie Buss, bottled at 40% ABV.
Cincoro was founded by five friends who share a passion for basketball and tequila, and its name joins cinco, five, with oro, gold. The añejo begins as Cincoro Blanco and ages for 24 to 28 months in used American whiskey barrels in the brand's underground cellar.
On the nose come wood and dried fruits. The palate shows orange, fig and date, with hints of caramel and butterscotch, and the finish is long and luxurious, with evolving wood notes and warm spice.
It is a must-have for Lakers fans and a striking gift for tequila collectors.

Añejo tequila is aged between one and three years in oak barrels of no more than 600 litres, long enough to add colour, sweetness and spice while keeping the character of the agave, which makes it a natural sipping tequila.
Tequila can only be made from blue Weber agave in five designated Mexican states, chiefly Jalisco, and the finest bottlings are made from 100% agave. Sipping tequila is best enjoyed from a narrow-rimmed glass that concentrates the aromas, at room temperature and without salt or lime, so the character of the agave and the barrel can come through.
