Cocchi Americano Rosa is the rosé sibling of the classic Cocchi Americano, bottled at 16.5% ABV. Cocchi is a historic house in Asti, in Italy's Piedmont, where Giulio Cocchi created Cocchi Americano in 1891.

It is based on a blend of two aromatic Piedmontese varieties, Brachetto and Malvasia.

It is refined with natural extracts of flowers and spices: gentian, cinchona and citrus as in the Americano Bianco, with the addition of rose petals, ginger, saffron and vanilla.

The result is bittersweet and fruity, with red berries and rose, bitter orange and warm spice.

Its glowing ruby colour makes it a showpiece in spritzes and Negronis.

Vermouth is an aromatised wine: a base wine fortified with neutral spirit and flavoured with botanicals, traditionally including wormwood, which gives the category its name from the German Wermut. Once opened, it should be kept in the refrigerator and enjoyed within a few weeks, as the wine base slowly loses its freshness.

How to Enjoy It

Serve Cocchi Rosa over ice with a splash of soda or tonic water and a slice of grapefruit for an easy aperitivo. It makes a beautiful spritz with prosecco, a lighter Negroni with gin and bitter aperitivo, and a rosy twist on the Americano. It is also lovely in a French 75 in place of the lemon syrup, or simply chilled neat. Pair it with charcuterie, olives, salmon and berry desserts. Like any wine-based aperitif, keep the bottle in the refrigerator once opened and enjoy it within a few weeks while it is fresh.
