Código 1530 Rosa Reposado The Wonderful Edition is a limited special-edition tequila created with entrepreneur Kevin O'Leary, known as Mr. Wonderful, and rested in French oak Cabernet Sauvignon wine barrels from the Napa Valley.
Código 1530 is additive-free and made from 100% fully mature Blue Weber agave in Amatitán, Jalisco. Developed over two years by Kevin O'Leary and the Código team, this edition merges the floral, berry-forward character of Código's Rosa with the deeper, whiskey-like undertones of a reposado, and the wine barrels give it a pinkish, rose-gold hue.
The aroma balances cooked agave with floral notes, red fruit and soft oak. The palate pairs ripe agave sweetness with vanilla, toasted caramel and a subtle hint of cocoa, the wine barrels adding elegant fruitiness and a silky mouthfeel. The finish is smooth, long and warm, with lingering cinnamon, black pepper and mint.
