Compass Box assembles its blends from carefully selected whiskies, and for Crimson Casks portions of the blend are finished or married in red wine-seasoned casks to bring additional fruit, spice and oak depth, creating a rounded profile with a distinctive wine-cask signature and deep colour.
The nose offers red fruit, plum, toasted oak and soft spice. The palate brings rich berry character with layered oak, sweet dried fruit, dark chocolate and subtle cinnamon, and the finish is long and warming.
