Compass Box Hedonism 2025 is the limited annual release of Compass Box's celebrated blended grain Scotch whisky, launched in February 2025 to mark the company's 25th anniversary and bottled at 46% ABV.
Created as Compass Box's first whisky in 2000, Hedonism has always defied convention. It pays homage to the tradition of grain whisky distillation in Scotland while pushing the boundaries of Scotch. Its label has always featured a woman, something Scotch whisky had never done before, and for each annual release Compass Box commissions a different female artist to reimagine her. This release features a portrait by Argentinian artist Sofia Bonati, whose striking female portraits invite you into a dreamlike world.
Rated 92 points by Whisky Advocate, it has aromas of corncobs, vanilla sugar, pear, lemon meringue pie and nutmeg. Deliciously sweet, it brings lemon mousse, white peach and sweet grains, evolving into lemon zest, pear, white chocolate, creamed banana and sliced almonds, and finishes with sweet vanilla and lemon curd: a dessert in a dram.
