Corbin Sweet Potato Vodka is a California estate-grown vodka distilled from 100% sweet potatoes grown on the Souza family farm in Atwater, in the San Joaquin Valley, bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV).
Since 1917, the Souza family has grown sweet potatoes and Merced rye on its California farm, where sweet potatoes thrive in the sandy soil and arid climate of the Central Valley and Merced rye is planted as a drought-tolerant cover crop through fall and winter to replenish each field after harvest. When David John Souza took the reins of the family business, he set out to discover new ways people could enjoy the crop, and starting a distillery became the next step in the family's legacy.
Today Corbin Cash is a family-owned, farm-to-bottle distillery on the century-old farm. One hundred percent of the sweet potatoes in the vodka come from its own fields, harvested by its own team, and they are distilled with water from the farm's natural aquifers and filtered slowly through a carbon blend.
Potato vodka has long been prized for its creamy mouthfeel, and sweet potato vodka is no different. Corbin produces hints of sweetness and a buttery-smooth texture, with a velvety body, a rich, faintly earthy flavor and a smooth, rounded finish. It is gluten free.
Delicious sipped neat or ice cold, it also brings unexpected depth to a Bloody Mary, an Espresso Martini or a Vodka Old Fashioned. Farm and distillery tours are available by request.
