Cotswolds Sherry Cask is an English single malt whisky from the distillery's Cask Expressions Collection, a marriage of carefully selected and blended sherry casks, bottled at cask strength of 57.4% ABV.
The Cotswolds Distillery sits in the Cotswolds countryside of England and was the first to make whisky entirely in the Cotswolds, following a grain-to-glass ethos with locally grown barley. Each yearly batch of Sherry Cask is unique, drawn from the finest American and Spanish oak hogsheads and butts, some seasoned with dry Oloroso sherry and others with sweet Pedro Ximénez. All are sherry casks for the full maturation, for a deeper and more flavourful whisky.
It is full of dried fruits, chocolate and a touch of spice, and is non-chill filtered with natural colour.

English whisky is a young and fast-growing category. Like Scotch single malt, English single malt is made from 100% malted barley at a single distillery, but English distillers are free to experiment, and the Cotswolds has become one of the category's best-known names.
Oloroso sherry is dry, nutty and rich, while Pedro Ximénez is intensely sweet, made from sun-dried grapes. Combining casks of both gives a sherried whisky its depth and balance, and full-term maturation lets that character soak deep into the spirit.
