Crystal Head Aurora is an ultra-premium vodka crafted from high-quality English wheat and blended with pristine water from Newfoundland, Canada, bottled at 40% ABV in an iridescent skull bottle.
Its purity comes from five distillations and seven filtrations, three of which pass through layers of Herkimer diamonds. Aurora is sugar-free, gluten-free and kosher certified, with no added glycerol or citrus oils.
The iconic skull bottle, made by leading European glass makers, has a delicate iridescent finish created to celebrate the aurora borealis, and no two bottles are alike. On the nose it is crisp, with delicate floral aromas and a subtle hint of anise; the palate is warm with strong peppercorn notes and a touch of sweetness, and the finish is dry, clean and warming.
A dazzling centrepiece, it makes a memorable gift.
Serve it chilled, neat, or as the base of any cocktail.
Vodka is a neutral spirit distilled to high purity and filtered for a clean taste.
Wheat-based vodkas tend to be softer and slightly sweeter than those made from potato or rye.
Herkimer diamonds are double-terminated quartz crystals found in Herkimer County, New York.
Newfoundland, on Canada's Atlantic coast, is known for exceptionally pure water.
Crystal Head was co-founded by actor Dan Aykroyd and artist John Alexander, who designed the skull bottle.
Each Aurora bottle's iridescent finish catches the light differently, inspired by the northern lights.
