The edition does not change the liquid; it reimagines the signature Crystal Head skull through a design centered on contrast, individuality, confidence and self-expression.
Crystal Head was founded in 2008 by Canadian actor and comedian Dan Aykroyd and American artist John Alexander, who set out to make a pure, additive-free vodka. Fascinated by the legend of the thirteen crystal skulls, Alexander designed the iconic skull bottle, an accurate rendering of a human skull and one of the most complex bottles on the market; its glass is made in Europe with bits of crystal melted in for absolute clarity. The vodka is made in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.
Crystal Head Vodka is made from high-quality Canadian corn, distilled four times and blended with pristine Newfoundland water. It then goes through a distinctive seven-stage filtration, three stages of which pass through layers of semi-precious quartz crystals known as Herkimer diamonds.
It is crafted without additives, glycerol, citrus oils or added sugars, for an exceptionally clean, neutral character and a smooth, silken texture. It is gluten-free and sugar-free.
