Cygnet 77 is a cask-aged Welsh dry gin made from Cygnet's 22-botanical recipe, rested with Manuka honey in ex-Welsh whisky barrels for around a year. It is a luxurious sipping gin bottled at 44% ABV.
Cygnet gins are distilled by sixth-generation distiller Chris Sadler in a copper still at the historic Penderyn Copperworks Distillery in Swansea. Cygnet 77 was first released exclusively at Harrods in April 2025, and it comes in Cygnet's Eirlys decanter, designed to weigh up to half as much as a standard bottle.
Rich and smooth, it balances botanical freshness with the depth of a matured spirit: juniper, chamomile, heather, citrus peel and bee pollen meet Manuka honey and warm oak spice, with a gentle honeyed barrel note and light oak on the finish.
The elegant teardrop decanter makes it a beautiful gift for gin lovers.
Sip it neat over a single ice cube, or use it in a luxurious Martinez.
Most gin is bottled unaged, but resting it in oak softens the botanicals and adds colour, vanilla and spice, turning it into a spirit to sip slowly like a fine whisky. Penderyn Copperworks stands on the site of Swansea's historic copper works, where the city's industry once supplied copper to the world, a fitting home for spirits made in copper stills.
