Deau Napoléon Cigar Blend is a cognac composed especially for lovers of cigars and fine spirits, aged for a minimum of six years in French oak barrels and bottled at 40% ABV.
It is distilled from Ugni Blanc grapes and blended from four crus of the Cognac region: Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, Fins Bois and Bons Bois. Bringing together the finesse of the Champagne crus and the rounder, fruitier character of the Bois gives the blend both elegance and the weight to stand up to a cigar. The cognac is produced at Distillerie des Moisans.
The nose is rich, with vanilla, roasted coffee and dark chocolate. The palate is full-bodied, with candied fruit, subtle saffron and gentle tobacco-like notes, and the finish is smooth, balanced, long and velvety, with hints of dark tobacco and liquorice.
Its robust yet balanced profile makes it an ideal companion for a cigar night, and a fine sipper on its own, which makes it a thoughtful gift for any cigar or cognac enthusiast.
Savour it neat, at room temperature, from a tulip glass.
Cognac must be made from white grapes grown in the Cognac region of France, double distilled in copper pot stills and aged in French oak, with age categories such as VSOP and XO describing the minimum age of the youngest brandy in the blend.
