Denning's Point Distillery opened in Beacon in 2014 and was voted Best Hudson Valley Distillery from 2015 through 2017. Its label carries the colonial rallying cry Join or Die, a nod to the region's deep American history.
Viskill is the original Dutch name for Fishkill Creek, the Hudson River tributary that runs along the east end of Beacon. The vodka is distilled from 100% New York wheat, cut with New York State spring water and hand bottled in small batches at the distillery.
