Don Fulano 20th Anniversary Añejo is a limited release celebrating twenty years of the Fonseca family's Don Fulano tequila. Blended from three different batches of 100% agave tequila and aged in Oloroso and Amontillado sherry casks, it is bottled at 44.4% ABV.
Don Fulano is made at Destilería Tequileña in Tequila, Jalisco, where the Fonseca family has grown agave for generations. Their tequilas are known for their pure, balanced agave character, and the 20th Anniversary adds the nutty, dried-fruit depth of sherry wood.
The nose brings cooked agave, apricot, dried raisins and figs, with vanilla, caramel, toasted oak, baking spice, almond and sherry sweetness. The palate is rich and layered, with roasted agave, dried apricot, raisin, brown sugar, vanilla, oak, cinnamon, nutmeg and toasted nuts, and the finish is long and warm, ending with a touch of bitter almond.
The bottle, with its wax seal and bold orange 20, comes in a kraft gift box, making it a fine gift for tequila collectors.

Añejo tequila is aged between one and three years in oak barrels of no more than 600 litres, long enough to add colour, sweetness and spice while keeping the character of the agave, which makes it a natural sipping tequila.
Tequila can only be made from blue Weber agave in five designated Mexican states, chiefly Jalisco, and the finest bottlings are made from 100% agave. Sipping tequila is best enjoyed from a narrow-rimmed glass that concentrates the aromas, at room temperature and without salt or lime, so the character of the agave and the barrel can come through.
