Don Vicente Fuerte Reposado is El Pandillo's first-ever cask-strength reposado tequila, an additive-free, limited release bottled uncut at 104 proof (52% ABV).
It is rested in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels and blends a unique combination of fermentation methods, in both wooden and stainless steel tanks, with and without agave fibres. Bottled at full cask strength without dilution, it offers a rare window into the distillery's craft and carries the deep well water minerality of the Don Vicente lineup.
Fuerte means strong: it keeps the raw, vibrant energy of the Fuerte Blanco while adding vanilla, caramel and toasted wood from the barrel, with more flavour and texture than an 80-proof reposado.

Reposado, meaning rested, is tequila aged between two months and a year in oak, which gives it a pale gold colour and a gentle touch of wood while keeping the agave bright and lively.
Tequila can only be made from blue Weber agave in five designated Mexican states, chiefly Jalisco, and the finest bottlings are made from 100% agave. Sipping tequila is best enjoyed from a narrow-rimmed glass that concentrates the aromas, at room temperature and without salt or lime, so the character of the agave and the barrel can come through.
