Dos Armadillos Reposado is an estate-grown, 100% blue Weber agave tequila from the highlands of Jalisco, rested in American oak barrels and bottled at 40% ABV.
It is known as much for its signature handcrafted bottle, with a crystal finish and pewter armadillo armour, as for its balanced character. The agave matures for at least eight years before harvest, and the tequila is made at NOM 1558.
It bridges the gap between the bright citrus of a blanco and the deep oak of an añejo: the highland agave and its rest in American oak create a golden, sweet, floral and gently spiced profile, with cooked agave and toffee over soft barrel notes.

Reposado, meaning rested, is tequila aged between two months and a year in oak, which gives it a pale gold colour and a gentle touch of wood while keeping the agave bright and lively.

Sipping tequila is best enjoyed from a narrow-rimmed glass that concentrates the aromas, at room temperature and without salt or lime, so the character of the agave and the barrel can come through.
