Dry Fly Distilling was founded in Spokane, Washington, in 2007, one of the first craft distilleries in the state and a pioneer of the Northwest craft spirits scene. It began with Don Poffenroth and a good friend, knee-deep in a Pacific Northwest river, talking about how fortunate they were to live, work and play in one of the most amazing places on earth. Dry Fly embraces a farm-to-bottle approach for all of its products, with grain sourced from family farms within 30 miles of the distillery, making it a true grain-to-glass operation.
Huckleberry Vodka starts out as Dry Fly's soft, creamy-textured vodka, made with 100% Washington soft white winter wheat and a Double Gold, Best in Show winner in its own right. The distillery then adds a delicious wild huckleberry syrup from Idaho and an all-natural huckleberry flavoring, which give it a bold flavor and a bright pink color. Unlike flavored vodkas built on synthetic essences, it relies on real fruit components.
The result is a delicious taste of the Northwest: juicy, wild huckleberry over a smooth, creamy wheat vodka base.
