D'USSÉ XO is a Cognac crafted at the Château de Cognac, a house that has made fine Cognac for more than 200 years, from hand-selected eaux-de-vie aged a minimum of ten years in French oak barrels.
The long natural ageing in French oak gives the XO its complexity and depth. The eaux-de-vie are meticulously selected by hand, and the blend is bottled at 40% ABV in D'USSÉ's distinctive decanter marked with its cross emblem.
D'USSÉ XO delivers rich notes of ripe blueberry and apricot, layered with hints of dark chocolate and walnut, and closes with an exceptionally balanced finish.
With its striking dark decanter, the XO is a bold centrepiece for a bar and a memorable gift for a celebration.
Enjoy it neat, or build an elevated cocktail such as an XO sidecar.
Cognac must be made from white grapes grown in the Cognac region of France, double distilled in copper pot stills and aged in French oak, with age categories such as VSOP and XO describing the minimum age of the youngest brandy in the blend.
An XO, or extra old, is the senior grade of Cognac, a brandy made from white grapes grown in the Cognac region of France and twice distilled in copper pot stills before ageing in oak.
