Eden Mill The Art of St Andrews 2023 is the first release in Eden Mill's annual Art of St Andrews collection and the distillery's first peated expression. Matured in a mix of bourbon, Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez casks and finished in ex-Grande Champagne cognac casks, it is bottled at 46.5% ABV.
Eden Mill, based in St Andrews on the Fife coast, created the Art of St Andrews series to pair its single malt with packaging designed by local artists, celebrating the town and its landscape. The 2023 box and label are a vibrant collage of green, yellow and blue, a joyful start to the collection.
On the nose come smoke and sweet fruit, and the palate is juicy, with an earthy peat character. The finish brings dry oak spice.
