The sugarcane is Fairtrade certified and sourced directly from a cooperative of some 6,000 independent farmers in Belize. Traveller's, the distillery that put Belize rum on the map, began in 1953 as a bar in Belize City and grew into a family distillery under the Perdomo name.
The rum is column distilled and aged in American oak. It is light and easygoing, with a classic profile of vanilla, oak, toffee and nuts.
