Fiero Serrano is a blanco tequila naturally infused with fresh, vine-ripened serrano peppers from local Jalisco farmers markets, an additive-free spicy tequila bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV).
Fiero is made by Hotaling & Co. with Casa Don Roberto, and Serrano joined the original Habanero in July 2023 as the second expression in the line. Its label reads distilled in La Purisima, the same way since 1924, and el mundo es de los valientes: the world belongs to the brave.
The serrano pepper originated in the mountainous regions of Mexico. Fiero carefully infuses fresh peppers, never dried or roasted, into tequila through a proprietary, all-natural process, and every pepper is selected, seeded and chopped by hand for the highest possible quality.
Hot but approachable at 10,000 to 23,000 Scoville heat units, it opens with fresh green pepper and agave, brings bright, crisp heat and citrus on the palate, and finishes warm and peppery.
