Flecha Azul Reposado is an additive-free tequila made with only three ingredients, Blue Weber agave, yeast and volcanic water, aged six months in ex-bourbon American oak barrels and bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV).
Flecha Azul, co-founded by Mark Wahlberg, is produced at Casa Orendain in Tequila, Jalisco, under NOM 1110. The Reposado keeps the bright, crisp character of the brand's traditional Blanco, layering citrus and a gentle grassiness against praline, vanilla, sandalwood and subtle baking spice.
It has a rounded profile with notes of baking spice, oak and florals, a sweet finish with subtle brown spice, and a medium, approachable body with a clean, refreshing finish.
Hecho en México and enjoyed everywhere, it makes a great gift, and it is made for memorable spicy Margaritas.
Enjoy it neat or in your favourite cocktail.
Reposado, meaning rested, is tequila aged between two months and a year in oak, which gives it a pale gold colour and a gentle touch of wood while keeping the agave bright and lively.
Tequila can only be made from blue Weber agave in five designated Mexican states, chiefly Jalisco, and the finest bottlings are made from 100% agave. Sipping tequila is best enjoyed from a narrow-rimmed glass that concentrates the aromas, at room temperature and without salt or lime, so the character of the agave and the barrel can come through.
