Forthwest Whisky Co. was launched in spring 2023 by Hood River Distillers in Oregon, with three flavored whiskies, Giant Peach, Shiny Apple and Spice of Life, alongside a blended Canadian whisky. The label calls it good-natured, and the brand's eco-conscious approach shows in its recycled glass bottle.
The base is a smooth Canadian whisky, brought to Oregon and finished at Hood River Distillers with glacier-fed spring water from Mt. Hood. It is infused with proprietary natural peach flavor extracts rather than generic, off-the-shelf ingredients, and unlike many flavored whiskies it keeps a full 80-proof strength.
