It blends pot still and column still distillates, aged in ex-bourbon barrels, and is made with no added sugar, colour or filtration, the hallmark of Foursquare's honest approach to rum.
Bright citrus peel opens the nose, with grapefruit and orange over caramel and cocoa, fresh ginger and dried coconut. The palate brings caramelised fruit, molasses and treacle, butterscotch, vanilla, dried berries and black tea, leading to a spicy, dry finish.
