The George Dickel rye is chill-filtered through maple charcoal at Cascade Hollow in Tennessee, while Leopold Bros' pre-Prohibition-style rye comes from its rare three-chamber still in Denver.
Lavender, maple syrup, cocoa and red fruits grace the nose, while blackberries, caramel and citrus bring a creamy texture. The finish is long, oily and warming, with tea, honey and cocoa.
