Grey Goose L'Orange is a French orange-flavored vodka made from Grey Goose's soft winter wheat spirit and the essential oils of fresh oranges, distilled together for a vibrant citrus character, bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV).
Grey Goose was created in 1997, with cognac cellar master François Thibault developing the recipe, and it is made in France from soft winter wheat grown in Picardy and limestone-filtered spring water from its own well in Gensac-la-Pallue, in the Cognac region. Maître de chai François Thibault selects the fruit for its flavored vodkas, choosing only the finest oranges, harvested year-round, for L'Orange.
Essential oils from the fresh fruit are mixed with the wheat spirit and distilled, capturing the natural essence of more than two pounds of oranges in every liter. The result is a deliciously elevated flavored vodka with a signature vibrant, citrus character.
A fresh, fruity aroma leads to a full, fragrant palate and a refreshingly warm finish, with the clean, soft character of the wheat vodka underneath.
