Cooperstown Distillery was founded in October 2013 by Gene Marra, a restaurateur with more than four decades in food and beverage, in downtown Cooperstown, New York, within walking distance of the National Baseball Hall of Fame. Collectible sports decanters became the distillery's calling card, and its Hall of Champions Collection celebrates the great games.
The golf club decanter is detailed down to the replica whippings that form the stopper and a "Hole #19" blown into the glass base, a nod to the clubhouse bar where every round really ends. The design pays homage to the Scottish birthright of the game, and it won awards at both the 2022 John Barleycorn Awards and the 2022 DISC Packaging and Design Awards.
