Hangar 1 is distilled near Northern California wine country. Working with neighboring vineyards and farms to source the grapes and fresh ingredients for its core vodkas, the distillery was inspired to create a rosé vodka that celebrates local Golden State wine culture, an evolution of Hangar 1's fresh, ingredient-driven approach led by Head Distiller Caley Shoemaker, who continues to push the boundaries of traditional vodka distillation.
The blend brings together the brightness of rosé and the concentration of vodka for a bold, rounded taste, with California Petit Verdot and Meritage grapes from the San Joaquin Valley giving the wine side its depth and the spirit its pink color.
The nose is floral, with crisp apple, sweet pea blossoms and a hint of oak; the mouthfeel is silky and soft, and the finish is fresh, with hints of cranberry.
