Hardy V.S is a harmonious blend of Cognac crus from the House of Hardy, the family Cognac house founded in 1863, bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV).

Maison Hardy was founded in 1863 by Anthony Hardy, a London gentleman who settled in the Charente region, and has been family owned for five generations. The house is known for elegant presentation and an audacious, recognizable style, with the rooster, symbol of the brand and of France, on its bottles. The V.S reflects the smoothness and finesse of the Hardy house blends.

Floral notes lead the nose, the palate is invigorating with oak, vanilla and subtle fruit, and the finish strikes a subtle balance between freshness and smoothness.

The rooster bottle makes it an elegant gift.

Cognac must be made from white grapes grown in the Cognac region of France, double distilled in copper pot stills and aged in French oak, with age categories such as VSOP and XO describing the minimum age of the youngest brandy in the blend.

V.S means Very Special: the youngest eau-de-vie is aged at least two years.

Cognac is double distilled in copper pot stills.

Serve it in a tulip glass at room temperature.

A splash of water opens up the floral notes.

It makes a classic Sidecar with orange liqueur and lemon.

Try it with ginger ale and a lemon twist.

It is a classic gift for cognac lovers.
