Isle of Raasay The Draam is the signature Hebridean single malt from the Isle of Raasay Distillery, bottled at 46.4% ABV, non-chill filtered and with natural colour.
First introduced in 2021, it follows a unique six-cask recipe created by Master Distiller Alasdair Day. Two Isle of Raasay spirits, peated and unpeated, both made from 100% Scottish barley, are matured separately in American rye whiskey casks, fresh Chinkapin oak casks and first-fill Bordeaux red wine casks. Every drop is distilled, matured and bottled on Raasay, a small island off the coast of Skye and home to its first legal distillery.
The Draam emulates an older style of Hebridean single malt, with a lighter, fragrant smokiness balanced by rich, dark fruit. Honey gold in colour with hints of red wine hues, it has a depth of flavour beyond its years. Its name is a playful take on the Scottish word for a measure of whisky and the island's many A's.
Award-winning and small-batch, it makes a fine gift for island whisky lovers.
Enjoy it neat or with a drop of water.
Scotch whisky must be distilled and matured in Scotland for at least three years in oak casks, and any age statement on the label refers to the youngest whisky in the bottle.
