Jefferson's Marian McLain is a limited-edition blend of five bourbons bottled at 51% ABV (102 proof): a 14 year old Tennessee straight bourbon, an 11 year old Kentucky straight bourbon, an 8 year old Kentucky straight bourbon, a wheated double-barrel bourbon and a rum cask finished bourbon.
It honors Trey Zoeller's eighth-generation grandmother, Marian McLain, who was arrested in 1799 and became one of the first women convicted of bootlegging.
Each of the five bourbons stands for one of her five children.
