Journeyman Red Arrow Vodka is a handmade, organic vodka distilled grain-to-bottle from 100% organic Michigan wheat at Journeyman Distillery in Three Oaks, Michigan, and bottled at 90 proof (45% ABV).
Red Arrow Vodka is named for the Red Arrow Highway, the historic road that threads along Lake Michigan near the distillery and one of America's great highways. With roots in Michigan and the heart of hard-working American towns, the bottle represents community and the values that keep us connected.
Journeyman is uniquely set up to create spirits from grain to bottle, with grain silos right outside its walls and control over every step of the process. Unlike many vodka producers, it keeps that production style no matter the spirit category, so Red Arrow starts with organic Michigan wheat and is double distilled in small batches on site.
Journeyman makes its home in the historic Featherbone Factory in Three Oaks, which also houses its Staymaker restaurant and offers tours and tastings, and it runs a second location, the American Factory, in Valparaiso, Indiana. Choosing organic grain supports family farms of all sizes and helps reduce the load of chemicals in the air, water and soil, and Journeyman believes it simply tastes better. Red Arrow is clean, crisp and smooth, with a gentle grain character, subtle minerality, a smooth body and a clean finish.
At 90 proof it is a great mixer and smooth enough to drink neat. Try it in a Martini, a Vodka Tonic, a Moscow Mule or a Bloody Mary.
