Kōloa Kauaʻi Coconut is a Hawaiian coconut rum distilled, blended and bottled by Kōloa Rum Company in Kalaheo, Kauaʻi, from pure cane sugar, and bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV).
Like all Kōloa rums, it is distilled twice in a vintage 1,210-gallon, steam-powered copper pot still and cut with filtered water from the ancient Mount Waiʻaleʻale. It pours a beautifully clear white with a whisper of green opalescence and a thick texture.
Intense coconut aromatics lead, with light hints of roasted coconut and piña colada. The first taste is pleasantly dry thanks to the 80-proof strength, then quickly opens into the flavor of baby coconut at the front of the palate, with lime zest and a caramelized pineapple finish.
A true taste of the islands that feels indulgent yet refreshingly dry.
