Loca Loka Blanco is an additive-free highland tequila made from 100% blue Weber agave, imagined in India and produced in Mexico, and bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV).
Loca Loka was started in 2024 by Indian film star Rana Daggubati, music composer Anirudh Ravichander and Harsha Vadlamudi as a fusion of Indian and Mexican cultures; the name merges the Spanish loca (crazy) with the Sanskrit loka (world), and the labels feature peacocks and other imagery bridging both nations. The tequila is made from mature highland agave grown at least six years, hand-picked and slow-cooked in traditional ovens, then double distilled in pot stills by Tequilas El Mexicano under NOM 1588 and bottled immediately to preserve its lively character. The Blanco won Gold at the 2025 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
The aroma is crisp and bright, with fruity cooked agave and floral undertones. The palate is clean and crisp, with natural sweetness, subtle herbal earthiness and citrusy fruit, and the finish is smooth and refreshing.

Blanco tequila is bottled unaged or rested for less than two months, so it shows the agave at its purest: bright, peppery and fresh. It is the classic choice for margaritas and palomas, and a good blanco is just as rewarding sipped neat.
Tequila can only be made from blue Weber agave in five designated Mexican states, chiefly Jalisco, and the finest bottlings are made from 100% agave. Sipping tequila is best enjoyed from a narrow-rimmed glass that concentrates the aromas, at room temperature and without salt or lime, so the character of the agave and the barrel can come through.
