Loco Blanco is a terroir-driven blanco tequila created with ancestral and artisan techniques. Each bottle is numbered and delivered in a unique case designed by the artist Jan Hendrix, and it is bottled at 40% ABV.
Loco is made as a terroir tequila, crafted to express the place its agave is grown. The blanco is powerful and dynamic, balancing style and character, and is distinguished by its transparency, cleanliness and clarity, with subtle sparkles like delicate crystal.
The aroma is herbal, with fresh agave, green bell pepper, rosemary and basil, then fruity, with sweet cooked agave, honey, pears and apples in compote and touches of lime. Minerality recalls stones and wet soil, with lilac and lavender florals. The palate is creamy and well structured, with sweet agave and a remarkable, almost saline minerality, and a silky, velvety aftertaste of medium-long length.

Blanco tequila is bottled unaged or rested for less than two months, so it shows the agave at its purest: bright, peppery and fresh. It is the classic choice for margaritas and palomas, and a good blanco is just as rewarding sipped neat.
Tequila can only be made from blue Weber agave in five designated Mexican states, chiefly Jalisco, and the finest bottlings are made from 100% agave. Sipping tequila is best enjoyed from a narrow-rimmed glass that concentrates the aromas, at room temperature and without salt or lime, so the character of the agave and the barrel can come through.
