Louis Latour Meursault 2020 is a village-level white Burgundy made from 100% Chardonnay, bottled at 13.5% ABV.
It was fermented in oak with complete malolactic fermentation and aged 8 to 10 months in oak barrels, 15% new, from Louis Latour's own cooperage.
It has a pale gold colour, with yellow fruit and vanilla on the nose, and peach, melon and exotic fruit.
The palate is intense, with fresh almond, and the finish balances melted wood with a beautiful minerality.
Wine Enthusiast scored the 2020 92 points, describing earthy, chalky notes and ripe apples, generous and long. It is a classic, generous Meursault from one of Burgundy's great family houses.
Good wine rewards a little care in serving. Whites and rosés show best chilled to around 45 to 50°F, while reds are at their most expressive slightly below room temperature, around 60 to 65°F. Opening the bottle and letting it breathe for a few minutes, or pouring it into a decanter, helps the aromas open up.

How to Enjoy It
Serve at 12 to 14°C in a white Burgundy glass. Pair it with roast chicken, lobster, scallops, creamy pasta and Comté. Store the bottle on its side in a cool, dark place.
